Ray of Hope Designated Funds Policy

If you have donated to a specific program, your donation will be directed as requested, unless the need has been met.  Non-designated gifts are automatically directed to the area of greatest need.

"Spending of funds is confined to Board approved programs and projects.  Each restricted contribution designated towards a Board approved program or project will be used as designated, with the understanding that when the need for such a program or project has been met, or cannot be completed for any reason determined by the Board of Directors, the remaining restricted contributions designated for such program or project will be used where most needed.”  As per Ethical Fundraising and Financial Accountability Code of Ray of Hope Section C, Item 2 approved by the Board of Directors on September 17, 2002 and signed November 28, 2002.
