Relief Youth Justice Officer – Youth Justice Services – Secure
The Youth Justice Officer is responsible for providing day-to-day supervision to male youth in a Secure Custody Detention facility. The Youth Justice Officer will engage in appropriate behavioural management and will actively participate in providing an effective, supportive, and respectful care system for the youth in custody.
Shift Schedule: 0700-1900 & 1900-0700, Monday through Sunday & Minimum availability requirement of 2 weekend shifts and 2 additional shifts [4 total] per month. Please proceed to the Application Form for a Youth Justice Self-Assessment tool and further position details.
Multiple positions available (& includes bi-weekly pay, access to our Employee Wellness Program & enrollment in the Registered Pension Plan [DCPP] once eligibility requirements have been met for Relief Employees)!
