Marketplace Food Hamper
If you need food, we can help. Through our Marketplace food hamper program, you can choose foods that meet your family’s unique needs and preferences. The Marketplace program is open on a first-come, first-served basis.
Marketplace Hours
No appointment is needed.
Individuals who live within the downtown Kitchener boundary can access this hamper once a month.
Monday to Thursday
(closed on holidays)
11:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Sign-up for Marketplace begins. We have limited spots per day, and it is on a first-come, first-served basis.
11:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Your entry to the Marketplace will depend on when you signed up. People who sign up first go in first.
The Community Centre is Open 365 Days a Year, Including Holidays
Location: Ray of Hope Community Centre at 659 King Street East, Kitchener – entrance off of Stirling Lane
Marketplace Food Hamper program donations can be dropped off during the Community Centre Hours.
Monday – Friday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Saturday: 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Sunday: 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM

You are welcome to join us for a hot nutritious meal in our dining room or take out a meal to go! If you need a hot meal and a safe place to connect, Ray of Hope can offer food, community, and support.
