If you need food, we can help

Through our Marketplace food hamper program, you can choose foods that meet your family’s unique needs and preferences. The Marketplace program is open on a first-come first-served basis. Individuals who live within the downtown Kitchener boundary can access this hamper once a month.

No appointment is needed.

Marketplace hours: (Closed on holidays)

Monday to Thursday

11:00 AM – 11:30 AM:
Sign-up for Marketplace begins. We have limited spots per day and it is a first come, first served basis.

11:30 am – 2 pm
Your entry to the Marketplace will depend on when you signed up. People who sign up first go in first.

The Community Centre is open 365 days a year, including holidays. 

Location: Ray of Hope Community Centre at 659 King Street East, Kitchener – entrance off of Stirling Lane

Marketplace Food Hamper program donations can be dropped off during the Community Centre Hours.

Monday-Friday 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Saturday 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Sunday 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM
